Ashley has been a dedicated volunteer minor hockey coach since 2010. Her journey in the sport began in a small Northern BC community, where she played with local boys until U15 as well as the woman's team and regional BC teams. At U15 she joined an integrated Rep team in the city. She continued her hockey career in the ACAC collegiate league, and ultimately winning an ACAC Championship with Mount Royal in Calgary.
Ashley first began coaching with KMHA before having children, stepping away briefly, and returning when her oldest child discovered a passion for hockey. Having two young females that love the sport has driven Ashley to give them and other females every opportunity that will inspire them to grow and develop to their maximum potential. She believes hard work, accountability, open, honest and respectful conversations is what develops great athletes and humans.
Ashley has successfully lead the female team to multiple league banners, and represented her community at provincials with the most recent resulting in a bronze medal. She has been an on-ice coach for the Brocklehurst Hockey Academy since 2020, as well as Valleyview Hockey Academy, working with athletes across all levels. She has also coached at multiple Hockey BC Program of Excellence, regional camps and served as Coaching Lead for the BC Hockey Female Jamboree in Whitehorse. She works with local surrounding associations for players of all ages. Ashley has been a yoga instructor since 2017, and believes mobility is an integral part of their development, and success of high-performing athletes.

Ally grew up playing minor hockey in Kamloops and began her coaching journey in 2019. Over the past seven seasons, she has coached a variety of female teams in Kamloops while attending high school and university. She is set to graduate in December 2025 with a Bachelor of Psychology degree from Thompson Rivers University. In addition, she has volunteered with the First Shift program, various summer camps, and most recently, the 2025 Limitless training camp. Ally’s passion for coaching stems from her desire to get to know young female athletes, connect with them, and push them to the best version of themselves on and off the ice!
She has an unmatched ability to connect with the athletes on a personal level and the girls absolutely adore her. Ask any one of the athletes that she has worked with and they would absolutely agree! Super stoked to have Ally on board.
